Our client is a well-established high-tech company and true world leader in the development and manufacturing of their niche market product.  They are offering an exciting opportunity (with international travel opportunities) to an enthusiastic and technically-minded Software Support Technician. This role requires an individual with a keen interest and understanding of sports like golf, tennis and cricket.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Documenting technical requirements, usage procedures, and common problem fixes
  • Providing technical support and customer service to software users
  • Providing technical support telephonically for international clients
  • Displaying knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and desktop software
  • Ability to seek solutions to problems using one’s own resources

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years in a customer software support/technician role
  • Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills
  • Motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual
  • Easy going and flexible personality
  • Critically and technically minded
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in at least English
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Computer literate (full Microsoft Package knowledge)
  • Basic knowledge of all sport including golf, tennis, cricket
  • Plays Golf or has extensive knowledge of Golf
  • Available to work shifts, including international hours
  • Willing to travel to international locations
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle (essential)

Salary:

  • Our client offers a market related salary, negotiable depending on the individual candidate
